This week, the Secular Coalition for America, along with our members the American Humanist Association and the Freedom From Religion Foundation, hosted a very successful Congressional Reason Reception. More than 150 people—most of them congressional staffers—came together with at least seven Members of Congress to affirm a simple, powerful idea: public policy should be guided by science and reason, not religious ideology.

This kind of turnout doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of years of tireless advocacy and relationship-building—and your support makes it possible. When members of Congress and their staff show up to stand with the secular community, it sends a message that cannot be ignored.

But we need your help to keep the momentum going. ([link removed])

We're fighting every day to defend the separation of church and state, push back against religious privilege, and ensure secular voices are heard in Washington. Your donation ([link removed]) will help us build on this success, reach even more lawmakers, and grow our influence where it matters most.
CAN WE COUNT ON YOU TO SUPPORT OUR WORK? ([link removed])

Thank you for being part of this movement. Together, we’re showing Congress that secular Americans are organized, engaged, and here to stay.

For reason,

Steven Emmert
Executive Director
