Friend, when I decided to run for Senate here in Michigan, it was entirely because I wanted to fight for the people that I love in the state that shaped me. But having to ask you for money in emails like this? It’s my least favorite part.

That’s why I’m not going to beg you to become a Founding Donor of my campaign. But I will lay out the three big reasons why your early grassroots support – right now, today – is so important.

1. Election experts predict that our race here in Michigan will likely decide Senate control. That means we have to win here if we want to flip the Senate and stop Donald Trump and Elon Musk from inflicting more harm on our families.

2. The Cook Political Report has already ranked this race as a “Toss Up,” which means the GOP will be coming after me with everything they’ve got.

3. Last year, Republicans spent nearly $80 million to try and buy Michigan’s Senate seat – and they nearly succeeded. This year, it’s a sure bet that they’ll spend even more to get the job done.

If we’re going to fight back against the GOP’s billionaire-funded war chest and keep this battleground blue, we need to start building up our grassroots resources right out the gate. But my team just let me know that we’re falling way short of our $15,000 daily goal. So please, I have to ask:
