The Mighty 13th is one of the most working-class districts in the country, and it's being ignored by a multimillionaire Congressman.

Right now, this district is represented by Do-Nothing Democrat & self-funded millionaire Rep. Shri Thanedar, who bought his seat in Congress using his personal fortune. Politicians like Thanedar are the problem: he has more in common with Donald Trump and Elon Musk than people like us.

But Donavan knows what it’s like. He was raised near smokestacks and developed a lifelong cough that his mother and grandmother also suffer from. Growing up, his family moved from apartments to family members’ houses and even lived in their car. Now he has a wife and two young sons, and is committed to giving them and the rest of his community the representation and resources they deserve from Washington.

We deserve a Democratic Party that leads the fight against billionaires robbing us blind and stands up to corporate PACs keeping us down. We shouldn’t settle for less.
