Hi Friend,
Thank you to everyone who donated to our emergency response to the earthquake in Myanmar. Over the past month, AFSC has worked closely with local organizations to help survivors in some of the country’s hardest-hit areas. We have provided hundreds of households with critical supplies, including food, medicine, mosquito nets, sleeping mats, and solar lighting. None of this would be possible without supporters like you. Tell Congress: Demand lifesaving aid for Gaza!
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels. For the past two months, Israeli authorities—with full support from the U.S.—have blocked all food, water, medicine, and humanitarian aid from entering Gaza. Palestinians, including children, are dying from starvation, malnutrition, and disease. This is a 100% preventable crisis. Urge Congress to demand immediate humanitarian access to Gaza before more civilians are killed. Send a message today!

They argued that the United States’ “use of force” laws violate international human rights standards. On Wednesday, the commission ruled that border officials were responsible for Anastasio’s death. They also called for reopening the investigation and implementing sweeping reforms. Read more in Capital & Main.
Trump was right to engage with North Korea. He should do so again.
By Austin Headrick
During his first term, President Trump defied the U.S. policy establishment and initiated a dialogue with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. It was the right thing to do then, and restarting these talks would be the right thing to do now. Isolation and pressure have failed to improve U.S. security. And recent polling commissioned by AFSC shows that voters in the U.S. want engagement and diplomacy with North Korea, not another decade of an unresolved war.
