There’s a kind of fatigue that doesn’t come from doing too much — it comes from being forced to process too much, all the time.

The first 100 days of Trump’s presidency have been a constant barrage: not one existential crisis, but dozens, stacked one atop the other until it's hard to tell where one ends and the next begins. That’s not a bug in their strategy — it’s a feature: flood the zone.

Beyond the policy changes and threats to the rule of law, Trump’s presence distorts the entire national conversation. Every news cycle bends around him. Every interaction becomes colored by what he’s said or done. For better or worse, he dominates the atmosphere — replacing oxygen with drama, danger, and distrust.

And it’s easy to feel numb. That’s part of the design, too. Because if you’re tired, you’re less likely to stand up. Less likely to organize. Less likely to believe that any one thing you do matters.

But it does matter — and that’s what the Bright America movement is here to remind us.
