Hi John,

My opponent Derek Kilmer signed onto a letter saying he wants to take away your Social Security.

This is unconscionable in a district where 20% of the population is over the age of 65. In the middle of a pandemic, the most important thing the government can do is provide for our safety and security.

With Kilmer calling for cuts to Social Security, it’s become even more urgent that we remove him from office. Can you give $7 now to help me do that?

I’m in a tough place with our fundraising, because phone banking costs have DRASTICALLY increased in the last few days. Not only that, but we have 241 additional phone bankers ready to start ASAP — if we can afford to pay for it.

If I don’t raise $2,000 today, we’ll have to immediately pull back on phone banking. Can you donate $7 right now to stop that from happening?

We absolutely must remove Kilmer from office. To win, we need to phone bank and let voters know that I will always protect their Social Security when I’m in Congress.

But time is running out. People start voting in just five weeks.

I don’t have the resources of the state party (since they barred me from them). I don’t have $3.5 million cash on hand like Derek Kilmer. I have you: my grassroot supporters.
