Team, Republicans are hellbent on slashing Medicaid and cutting health care coverage for millions of Americans to pay for billionaire tax handouts. There are 780,000 people in New Mexico alone whose health care access depends on Medicaid. If Republicans succeed, 83,000 rural residents will lose their coverage, 95,000 children will lose health insurance, and more than 1 in 5 seniors will lose nursing home care. My fellow Democrats and I are working tooth and nail to block Republicans’ cuts to Medicaid’s funding.
