Team, when I heard from our Finance team about our end-of-month fundraising numbers it gave me pause. I was once again reminded of the power of the people and the undying hope for a better future that brings us all together.

Every time I’m feeling the chaos, the exhaustion, the feeling of “please can it end already,” — you, my supporters and constituents — snap me out of it. Because even though things feel hopeless, they are not and never will be. That is the beauty of our democracy. That is what I fight to protect, to honor, and to uplift when working for you, the people.

Every town hall I host, the crowds get larger. Every constituent call I have, the collective will to fight grows. Every unlawful action from this administration, our anger bands us together. This is far from over. We will not be silenced, no matter how hard they try. We will not stop fundraising, organizing, or showing up, no matter how badly they want us to.

They can’t take away our voices, our movement, and our democracy. I promise you that.
