Dear Friend,
We hit a big milestone this week—President Trump's first 100 days back in office—and the progress so far has been remarkable.
He’s delivered on major promises at a record pace: border crossings are at the lowest levels in decades, inflation is dropping faster than experts predicted, energy production is rising, and the Laken Riley Act was signed into law to deport criminal illegal aliens.
This week’s Tiffany Telegram covers it all in a special 100-day-mark edition.
Just this week, President Trump signed an executive order to create a nationwide list of sanctuary jurisdictions—something I’ve long advocated for—so we can ensure these areas no longer receive federal funding. I’ll be watching to ensure places like Madison and Minneapolis are on that list. You can click here to see my full statement.
Another area I have been impressed with during the Trump administration is one that doesn’t get as much attention. Under Joe Biden, military recruitment numbers hit rock bottom. But under President Trump, recruitment is up across every branch, as we return focus to readiness, lethality, and the warfighter. Service members who were wrongfully discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine are also being reinstated with full back pay and benefits.
This is just the beginning of righting the wrongs of the previous four years.
The first 100 days laid the groundwork, but the next 100 days are just as important. Congress now must act to codify these executive orders into law – which is something that will be a focus of mine moving forward.
Over the next month, the House will be working on one of the most consequential legislative packages in history. This legislation will work to cement President Trump’s America First agenda into law by stopping wasteful spending, keeping your taxes low, unleashing Made in America energy, and protecting programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for seniors and the vulnerable.
The Judiciary Committee did our part this week by delivering strong measures to secure the border. Next week, the Natural Resources Committee will tackle our portion.

Sincerely,
Tom Tiffany Member of Congress

Trump's 99.9% crackdown
President Trump promised that his first order of business would be closing the border Joe Biden opened and restoring safety and security to American neighborhoods. 100 days into his term, he has kept his commitment – and we’ve got the receipts to prove it. Since President Trump was sworn in, the number of migrants caught-and-released at the border has dropped by a whopping 99.9%, so-called “gotaways” shrunk by 95%, and immigration officials have arrested more than 158,000 illegal aliens so far in 2025 – with 142,000 already deported. And there’s more. In February and March of this year, the Border Patrol did not encounter a single terrorist suspect at the US-Mexico border – a stark contrast from the frightening peak of the Biden Border Crisis, when a record number of people triggering hits in the FBI’s terrorist database showed up on our doorstep. It’s an across-the-board, night-and-day change from just a few short months ago. In total, illegal border crossings are now at their lowest level ever detected. For years, ex-President Biden and his open-border enablers attempted to gaslight the American people, claiming that they couldn’t stop the invasion unless we granted amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, and imported millions more. President Trump’s record of accomplishment over the last three months proves that wasn’t true. Securing our borders didn’t require new legislation. All it required was a new leader with the courage and willpower to enforce the law.
DEI? More Like DOA
You may remember the programs under an outrageous Biden administration that sought to distribute agricultural aid based on the color of farmers’ skin – a program I led the charge to abolish. Well, these programs are dead on arrival under the Trump administration. On his first day in office, President Trump signed an executive order to end the racially discriminatory “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)” programs in the federal government. This action not only ensures that individuals are hired based on merit and performance, but it will also save taxpayers over $1 billion. That is why, as Telegram readers know, I introduced the Fairness, Anti-Discrimination and Individual Rights (FAIR) Act to codify President Trump’s executive order by putting an end to all programs that intentionally discriminate, or grant preferential treatment to, any person or group based on race. Let’s build a society that rewards merit and talent, where people are judged for their actions and achievements, not their skin color.
Making America affordable again
Over the past four years, we have seen the disastrous effects of so-called “Bidenomics”. During Biden’s presidency, inflation soared to 9.1% – a near all-time high – which put a massive financial strain on every American. But in just his first 100 days, President Trump is delivering relief to make life more affordable. Inflation is falling. Egg prices have dropped nearly 50%. Energy costs are down. And for the second month in a row, job numbers have blown expectations out of the water – proving that the Trump economy is working. The administration is already securing trillions in economic investments, prioritizing domestic energy production, and negotiating to make foreign countries lower their tariffs and barriers to American-made products. This is just the beginning of restoring America’s economic power and ensuring that Americans are not simply living paycheck to paycheck, but can thrive.
Common sense matters
Under the previous administration, radical gender ideology paved the way for policies that allowed biological men into girls' bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports. This isn't progress, it's dangerous, and it’s deeply unfair. That's why the House has already passed the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act to defend female athletics, and why I also cosponsored the Keep Our Girls Safe Act to stop schools from forcing our daughters to share private spaces with men. These bills build on the protections President Trump put in place during his first week in office, and it’s important to get these measures codified into law. While the left pushes an agenda that erases women and puts kids at risk, I will stand up for biological reality and common sense.
Putting veterans first
In just 100 days, President Trump's administration has already opened six new health care clinics, brought remote VA workers back to the office, shut down wasteful DEI programs, and redirected millions to help those who need it most – like amputees and paralyzed veterans. This is what putting veterans first really looks like, and in Congress, I will continue to ensure that our veterans are not trapped in a broken system. That’s why I support legislation like the Veterans Health Care Freedom Act, which requires the VA to give veterans control over their care through the Community Care Program or have the option to use private providers. This eliminates unnecessary bureaucracy and provides veterans with quicker care options. I also cosponsored the Major Richard Star Act to fix an outrageous policy that denies combat-injured veterans their full retirement pay and disability benefits. I will continue to work with the Trump administration to provide the best possible care and services to veterans.
