There’s something I want you to know — I’m one of just 13 House Democrats in the country representing a district that President Trump also won in November.

Here’s what that means. I have to get a lot of crossover voters to hold my seat. So, I will always work across the aisle to find common ground, but I will never abandon my values.

That brings me to the challenge of being one of the 13. Far-right extremist groups will spend millions attacking me in 2026—just like they did in 2024.

Those of you who have been with me since the special election know just how tough these attacks can be. They’ll say anything to defeat me, whether it’s true or not.

That’s why the DCCC has put me on its Frontline list, which highlights the most at-risk Democrats in the country. The election may seem far away, but the attacks are coming—we need to be ready.
