Hunger never gets easier to live with
-------------------------------------

[ **Donate today**]([link removed] "Give to our spring appeal today")

Hello Friend,

Last year's droughts and floods left East African communities battling severe hunger. **With the worsening impact of the climate crisis, time is critical for mothers struggling to provide enough food for their children.**

But with your support, they can transform barren plots of land into thriving gardens to feed their families and keep them healthy. [**Donate to our Spring Appeal today.**]([link removed] "Donate now")

Meet Clementine, a mother from Uganda, pictured above. Five years of below-average harvests have left farming families like hers hungry. The depleted soil on her land yields little, and the climate crisis only makes things harder. She told us:

***"I don't harvest enough produce to sell. We eat it all and sometimes it is not enough"***

Melda, a farmer from Kenya (pictured below), once faced the same struggles as Clementine. But after taking part in a Ripple Effect project, her garden now provides plentiful food for her family.

***"Our family's passion is farming, especially now that we have learned Ripple Effect's innovative agricultural technologies...Our farm has become our main source of income, and we work together on it."***

**Friend****, will you support mothers like Clementine to grow thriving gardens so they can feed their children this spring?**

**Thank you for supporting farming families in rural Africa**. If you have any questions about our appeal, please reply to this email to speak to our friendly Supporter Care team.

Best wishes,
