 Family Fun Night: Yoga Obstacle Course

Library Park
Join us in the Library Park for a Yoga Obstacle Course! Family yoga builds strength, flexibility, focus, and balance; plus, it’s tons of fun! We’ll start with a tutorial flow before turning families loose on the obstacles. Nama-stay together to complete the course and win a prize!
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be held in Program Rooms North and South.

Will you reach the Willamette Valley or die of dysentery? Test your survival skills in our all-ages Oregon Trail-themed escape room! Free registration required. Sign up at hursttx.gov/hplsignup or contact the Library to reserve your experience. Choose from time slots starting at 5:00 p.m.
 Story Laboratory: Thinking Money for Kids!

Is your kiddo always asking for a pet? Don't they know pets are expensive?! Then stop by Story Laboratory for Pet Cents! Players will adopt a (pretend) pet and learn the financial responsibilities of pet ownership as they visit various stations around the room.
Thinking Money for Kids is an initiative of the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.

Join your fellow creative types every 4th Tuesday in the Learning Center! We'll provide light refreshments and adult coloring pages, or you can bring your current craft project and enjoy the fellowship while you create.
 Summer Reading Challenge Opening Party featuring The Wanda King Band

Library Park
Color your summer with free sno-cones, lawn games, and crafts for the whole family at 6:00 p.m. in the Library Park, followed by soulful tunes of the Wanda King Band at 7:00 p.m. Don't forget your lawn chairs or blankets! The Hurst Public Library and Arts Council Northeast are proud to partner to bring you this year's MasterWorks concert series!
