Last Thursday, we hosted our first People’s Town Hall in CO-08, and we were so lucky to have Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Greg Casar as our special guest!

Over 100 people came out (on a school night!) to share their concerns and ask Congressman Greg Casar and CDP Chair Shad Murib their questions. We are so grateful for every last person who showed up and spoke up for their community.

It is shameful and unacceptable that CO-08’s own Congressman, Republican Gabe Evans, is hiding from his constituents. In fact, Republican leadership has told frontline members like Gabe to avoid hosting town halls.

Where Gabe Evans is silent, Colorado Democrats will proudly step in, listen, and lead. 

We want to host additional People’s Town Halls, especially in districts with absent Republican leadership. But these town halls take time and resources to put together.
