Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce's Statement Regarding Gov. Lujan Grisham's Revised Order Partially Opening Breweries
Albuquerque, June 11--The following statement is from RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce concerning the governor's latest Public Health Order revision affecting breweries:
“The governor’s continued piecemeal approach to reopen the state continues to be unjust and inequitable. Some businesses still remain shuttered while other sections of the economy are partially opened at 25% or 50%. Her decisions defy logic as New Mexicans continue to struggle and lose their livelihoods. It makes no sense that counties that have very few COVID-19 cases be subjected to the same rules as other counties where the virus is more prevalent. Her policies continue to hurt New Mexico.”
