I’m writing tonight because, as you may know, the race for the Democratic Nomination for Attorney General of West Virginia remains too close to call. The race between me and my opponent remains virtually tied.
There are over 20,000 outstanding absentee ballots---fully valid, regular ballots. Please, if you voted by absentee ballot, check and verify that you ballot has been received. You can do that by clicking the link below.

We see that I won 60-70% of the vote or more in most southern counties, and nearly that much in many of the largest counties statewide (Kanawha, Cabell, Monongalia, etc.), as well as evenly splitting the vote in key areas like Ohio and Jefferson Counties. And we see that the vast majority of uncounted absentee ballots come from those counties where our campaign won with large margins. Given those realities, if the current trends hold, this campaign---yours and mine---is the most likely victor.
