What makes Monday’s March for Life so critical?

The March for Life this coming Bank Holiday Monday (5th May) comes at a critically important time as the new government is reappraising policy positions adopted by the previous administration.

With the increased pro-life representation in the new Oireachtas and the alarming new data released this week on abortion trends, we need to send a very strong message to the Government on Monday that we expect to see urgent action taken to address Ireland’s skyrocketing abortion numbers. The absolutely appalling situation at present of women being

kept in the dark about positive alternatives prior to abortions taking place, has to end.

We are counting on you to attend Monday’s march. Change happens when people show up!

Join us and march from Newman University Church side of St Stephen’s Green to the Dáil - starting time 2pm.

Looking forward very much to seeing you there!

** 10% of women suffer ‘serious adverse events’ after abortion pill, new study claims
------------------------------------------------------------

One in ten women experience a “serious adverse event” after taking the abortion pill, according to a study released this week by the US based Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC).

The study found that 10.93% of women experienced sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or another serious adverse event within 45 days after a mifepristone abortion. The findings suggest that serious adverse events after mifepristone abortions are at least 20 times as high as the stated figure of “less than 0.5%” in clinical trials reported on the drug label.
