This week, congressional Democrats proposed the Justice in Policing Act of 2020. This effort, led by the Congressional Black Caucus, is a critical next step in reforming policing tactics and ensuring accountability.

The Justice in Policing Act will:
- End the use of chokeholds
- Establish a National Police Misconduct Registry
