Dear John,
Giant pharmaceutical corporations "are stealing billions upon billions of dollars from American families every year," according to court filings led by Democratic Attorneys General this week.

That's money out of your pocket. The Attorney General can fight to get it back.
A personal story: in 2015, I was between jobs and health insurance plans. I went to pick up a prescription for Differin at the Billings Albertsons on 27th. The out of pocket price for me in 2015 without insurance? $270. This is one of the drugs whose price we now know was illegally manipulated and increased.
I left it on the counter, skipped my prescription that month, and waited until my next job started. Differin is a boring topical that's been around forever. $270. Imagine if that was a life-saving medication. That's the choice so many Montanans face. Now I know that big RX companies had been robbing me and my insurance plan for years.
Do you know someone who takes Ritalin? These corporations stole money from them.
Ever use Lotramin for athlete's foot or ringworm? They stole money from you.
Does a family member rely on Dilantin, a life-saving medication to control seizures? They stole money from you and put your family’s health at risk.
My opponent says this "isn't what the attorney general's office is designed for." He's so out of touch, even his fellow Republicans agree this is theft. I commend Attorney General Fox for joining this effort led by Connecticut Attorney General Tong.
As Montana’s Attorney General, I'll go further and make Montana a leader again–leading our own investigations, filing our own cases, and recovering money that's been taken from us.
These corporations stole from you. Let's put that money back in your pocket and elect an Attorney General who fights for us.
Sincerely,
–Raph Graybill
P.S. If you agree that the Attorney General should stand up to Big Pharma, please considered donating to our campaign!

Supporting the campaign: Raph is currently working full time to support Governor Bullock. With the outbreak of COVID-19, we’ve cancelled all in-person fundraisers and events. But this election is more important than ever, especially with our access to healthcare on the line. If you want to continue to support our efforts to put a fighter for Montana in the Attorney General’s office, you can do so HERE.

About Raph: Raph Graybill is Chief Legal Counsel to Governor Steve Bullock. A fifth-generation Montanan from Great Falls, Graybill won a Rhodes Scholarship and graduated from Yale Law School. Graybill beat the Trump Administration in court over dark money, protected our public lands from out-of-state developers, and defended Montana's public schools.
The non-partisan Cook Political Report rates Graybill as the top Democratic candidate to win back the Attorney General's office this fall. |
