Donald Trump is actively taking a chainsaw to our economy.

His administration has illegally fired thousands of federal workers, including many folks right here in Virginia. Trump and Elon have gutted essential services that Virginians rely on to give billion dollar tax cuts to the wealthiest few in America. And Americans are paying the price for his reckless tariffs and unnecessary trade wars.

Inflation is up. Your retirement account is worth less. The stock market is tumbling. And more and more economists are warning us that a recession could be inevitable if Trump’s policies remain.

Yet Trump’s message to Americans is that a recession is worth it.

Didn’t he center his campaign around lowering costs and making things more affordable? So much for delivering on his promises on Day 1 – we’re over 100 days into Trump’s presidency and our economy is only getting worse.

Senator Warner won’t rest until he can end these sloppy policies that hurt Virginians and all Americans. But that makes him a top Republican target next year.

Trump, Elon Musk, and their army of special interests – the ones who pose to benefit at the expense of working Virginians – could spend millions to defeat Mark and protect their tax cuts. We need to be ready to fight back against the onslaught of spending coming our way.
