Ready to take your advocacy to the next level, but not sure where to start?
Join our All-Supporters Call on May 7 at 8:30 pm ET. We'll discuss what's going on in the courts and in Congress, upcoming Wear Orange events near you, and how you can get involved in our gun safety movement.
Our volunteers are mobilizing across the country to stop a dangerous federal mandate that would gut state gun laws and allow people with dangerous histories to carry hidden, loaded guns in public.
This mandate would be a huge blow to public safety. So our grassroots movement is going all out to stop it: Scheduling meetings with key lawmakers, making calls to mobilize their communities, and driving thousands of messages urging Congress to reject this dangerous bill.
We need to keep up the pressure. Join the 20,000 people who have already sent a message to their lawmakers: Send your message urging Congress to reject the Concealed Carry Mandate.
The Florida State University community is reeling after last month's horrific shooting, in which 2 people were shot and killed and 5 others were injured.
Students shouldn't fear for their lives when they go to class. That's why Florida students are turning their grief into action. In the days after the shooting, student volunteers from across the state marched to the Capitol in Tallahassee to demand action from Florida lawmakers.
We won't back down until we can live our lives without the fear of being shot.
Last month, the Trump Administration announced the end of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) "zero tolerance" policy, a move specifically requested by the gun lobby.
This policy tasked the ATF with revoking the licenses of gun dealers who willfully violate federal law—and while it was in place, the average number of monthly gun dealer inspections increased by 82 percent. As a consequence, gun stores that repeatedly failed to document gun sales and facilitated straw purchases were shut down.
Read more about this policy and how the gun lobby is protecting rogue gun dealers in "The Smoking Gun."
At the beginning of April, Wisconsin voters elected Judge Susan Crawford to the state's Supreme Court—rejecting extremist Brad Schimel.
Judge Crawford's election is a victory for public safety—and a loss for Elon Musk after he failed to buy this election. This victory wouldn't have been possible without our volunteers' tireless work to get Wisconsin voters to the polls.
Our movement is proving that people decide elections, not extremists pushing their dangerous agendas.
