Hey team, quick update on the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act.
The bill's author, Assemblymember Dawn Addis, decided to postpone the Assembly Judiciary Committee vote to June. We're grateful for Assemblymember Addis' leadership in bringing this common-sense proposal to the forefront, and we're excited to work with members and stakeholders to continue building momentum behind this bill.

Justice and economic relief need to go hand in hand. Working people need to be prioritized over corporate profits. EnviroVoters is committed to making this a reality for our communities, and the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act is a huge step toward this goal.
We can't keep letting polluters off the hook at the expense of Californians. We're already grappling with the rising cost of living—especially in the communities most affected by the climate crisis.
The Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act is a common sense solution to shift those costs off the backs of everyday people and onto the corporate polluters that have not only caused this mess, but also profited from it.
We need your help to keep this bill at the top of your representative's mind before the next vote. Support the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act by signing our Make Polluters Pay petition: [link removed]
