Head Start isn’t about giving some kids a leg up over others.    

It’s about ensuring every child gets a fair shot.  

Head Start is one of the most critical programs our country has to offer. It helps parents who can’t otherwise afford child care – so they can make a living while their children learn and thrive.

In many rural communities, it’s often families' only reliable link to early education, nutritious meals, medical services and other essential resources.  

There’s a lot of buzz on Capitol Hill about the future of Head Start. Let’s be clear: Congress MUST continue to invest in this life-changing program. 

Here’s the deal, John: One of the most effective ways lawmakers build momentum around an issue is by writing letters to their colleagues. 

Right now, a letter urging support for Head Start is making the rounds in Congress. The more representatives who sign on, the stronger the message… and YOURS should be among them.  

We need as many lawmakers as possible to stand up for Head Start. Act now to safeguard support for America’s families!
