Friend, I wanted to reach out and personally thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Last week, I officially launched my campaign to become Michigan’s next U.S. senator. I always knew that it would take a massive grassroots team behind me to win this race, but I never anticipated an outpouring of support quite like this. Already, this team is more than any candidate could hope for, and I can’t express how deeply grateful I am.
Together, I know we can handle whatever Trump and the GOP throw our way. Together, I know we can keep Michigan blue.
But there’s a long, tough road ahead of us. We have a lot of volunteers to mobilize, voters to register, people to persuade, doors to knock, and ads to get on the air. And all of this is going to take a lot of resources.
In a race that’s already shaping up to be the most competitive and expensive Senate race this cycle, winning is going to come down to every last grassroots dollar. That’s why I have to ask: Will you please chip in $5 or more to help us continue building a campaign strong enough to keep Michigan blue and take back the Senate for Democrats?
