John,
Last night, we fell short of our April fundraising goal.
That’s not the news I wanted to share with you today — but as a member of this team, you deserve to hear it straight.
Missing a goal isn’t the end of the world. Normally, we’d shake it off. But I have to be honest: this one matters.
Why? Because Republicans are ramping up their attacks. The NRCC is already running ads smearing me as a “traitor.” They’re clearly gearing up to take us on — and falling behind on fundraising gives them the impression that our movement is losing steam.
That’s why we need to catch up fast and hit the ground running in May. Right now, we’re still $12,424 short, but if everyone reading this email chips in $3 or whatever they can, we’ll close the gap and come back strong.
If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:
Thanks for being part of this fight. Our pro-democracy movement only works because of people like you stepping up when it counts.
