Now’s the time to lean into our values!

Dear John,

As we reflect on President Trump's first 100 days in office, the challenges facing our communities are increasing - from troubling immigration enforcement to economic changes that hurt working families. But there’s some hope: new public opinion polls show that most Americans aren't on board with the extent of these changes.

In fact, over half of voters think the administration has "gone too far" with immigration policies, and most people believe everyone deserves a fair chance at a better life.

These polls tell us something important: Despite all the noise, our shared values of opportunity, voice, and dignity are still alive. This gives us confidence for the road ahead.

The time is now to lean into shared values. The Opportunity Agenda is here to help. Read our full analysis and discover why we have reason for hope as we continue our unwavering work to advance immigrant rights, racial justice, economic opportunity, and inclusive democracy.

With hope,

Traci Lester, President and Elizabeth Johnsen, Vice President of Program Strategy and Impact
