Today is May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day. But at the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, we know that every day is a great day to celebrate and lift up workers.
Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican allies in Congress, on the other hand, couldn’t care less about working people. Their priorities and actions prove it every day — from opposing wage increases and union protections to doling out tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy and powerful corporations.
We’re proud to be the party that’s fighting to expand paid family leave, protect organizing rights, raise wages, and make it easier — not harder — for workers to join together and demand the dignity they’ve earned.
But to keep moving forward and fighting for workers — and stop MAGA extremists from undoing the progress we’ve made on the back of the American Labor Movement — we need your help.
