Game and Fish proposes six instream flow water rights to protect native trout
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking instream flow water rights for segments of six streams in the Bighorn National Forest. All segments are entirely on U.S. Forest Service lands in the Game and Fish’s Cody Region. The proposed water rights are important to maintaining populations of Yellowstone cutthroat trout in their native range.

Commercial Fishing Advisory Board to hold meeting in May
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Commercial Fishing Boat Advisory Board will have its first meeting May 1 in Cheyenne. The meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed. The seven-member advisory board will initially develop recommendations that will be presented to the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission for final review and approval.
