Well, it’s official, we have an opponent. John Fillmore is running against me.
If you’ve followed Arizona politics for a while, you might remember Fillmore from his time in the State Legislature — where he said, and I quote, that we should go back to “1958-style voting” and used to openly talk of his real dream job: to work in a topless bar. He’s even made disturbing comments comparing members of the trans community to farm animals.
Yikes.
Friend, we’re up against a MAGA throwback with extreme views and no filter — but in a district as competitive as ours, we cannot afford to take anything for granted.
