Hi friend, my name is Jason Jaffery, and I’m the Vice President of Development here at NILC. I wanted to take a moment to share with you something that's been fueling our inspiration.
Across the country, we’re seeing a growing wave of young people take bold action for immigrant communities — and choosing to support NILC in this important work. In just the past few weeks:
At Loyola University Chicago, students launched a fundraiser for NILC as part of a course project, choosing NILC for our commitment to equipping immigrants with essential Know Your Rights resources.
At the University of Southern California, students organized a bake sale benefiting NILC and have already received over 100 contributions from their community.
At Norwalk High School in California, students selected NILC as one of 23 nonprofits to support after researching organizations in their social studies classes. To raise funds, they designed and sold sweatshirts featuring all the chosen charities. A couple of weeks ago, they honored NILC at a school event — reminding us that the next generation is already leading the way:
We’re inspired by this new generation of advocates — and grateful to be building a movement alongside them and you.
Friend, help us keep the future bright — join these incredible young leaders in supporting NILC’s work by making a donation today. ([link removed])
