Team, we’ve got just a few hours until our end of month deadline at midnight tonight.

That deadline comes at a moment unlike any other in our nation’s history.

I served in Iraq as a Marine at the height of the war, about 20 years ago. All those years ago, I never thought I’d see the President of the United States sign off on the arrest of a sitting judge on virtually nonexistent charges. I never thought I’d see the President of the United States blatantly ignore the Supreme Court. I signed up to serve to defend our Constitution — to make sure exactly that kind of thing never happened at home.

This is authoritarianism. It is here. And we need to stand up now or risk losing the rights and liberties we were born with.

You know what’s happening, but most people still don’t. If we’re going to build a movement that stops and reverses Trump’s power grab, we have to start reaching the people who aren’t reading the news every day.

That’s why I’m getting on cable news all the time. It’s why I’m doing podcasts and social media, interviews with local and national papers. It’s why I’m doing town halls all over Arizona, and why I hope to do more soon.

That’s what I did in my campaign. It’s what I’ve been doing since I got elected. And I’m going to keep doing it as long as I have to until we start to break through to people.
