When emergencies occur, 24/7 access to quality care is critical. Hospitals and health systems provide essential services not available at other sites, such as burn units, neonatal care and critical care services. More than 72 million Americans, including children, people with disabilities, seniors and veterans are covered under Medicaid, allowing those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to pay for care to access healthcare services.

Some in Congress are proposing Medicaid cuts that would threaten access to care for patients nationwide. Millions of Medicaid enrollees would lose their access to essential, life-saving care. 

Send a letter to your Members of Congress to urge them to strengthen access to 24/7 care.
