Dear friend,
Imagine surviving a mass shooting at your high school, only to live through another one just a few years later at your college.
That’s the reality for students who made it through the 2018 Parkland shooting and just survived the recent attack at Florida State University.

As a father who lost his daughter in Parkland, I can’t put into words the heartbreak that stirs.
Two mass shootings. One lifetime.
No student, no parent, no community should ever have to live through that once, let alone twice.

Friend, this is not normal. This is not acceptable. And it must not continue.
That’s why we fight every single day to strengthen school safety and prevent firearm violence before it happens.
Please, if you believe we have a responsibility to protect our nation’s children and prevent more tragedies, support our work to demand that lawmakers safeguard America's schools and campuses from senseless tragedies.
We know these solutions work. We’ve already helped pass bipartisan legislation at the state and federal levels. That’s why we can’t stop now, especially when the stories keep getting more heartbreaking, and the stakes keep getting higher.
Please, friend. Let’s make sure no student suffers the horror of a school shooting twice.
