YOU DID
IT! Moments ago, the Ohio legislature passed the immediate
repeal of the controversial OVEC coal subsidies that were established
under House Bill 6.
This monumental achievement
would not have been possible without YOUR dedication and persistence.
When the corruption surrounding
House Bill 6 came to light, we didn't just get angry – we got
organized.
Together, we built a
movement of thousands of Ohioans who demanded accountability.
|
This victory proves that
when we stand together against corruption we can create lasting
change. The repeal of these subsidies means millions of
dollars will remain in the pockets of hardworking families instead of
propping up obsolete and polluting coal plants.
While we celebrate today's
win, we know our work isn't finished. This success gives us momentum
to push for even more ambitious clean energy policies that will
benefit our communities, economy, and environment.

In a time when we're
overwhelmed by anxiety-inducing headlines and rage-filled social
media, this success reminds us of the true antidote: genuine,
face-to-face conversations with our neighbors.
Our Columbus team (pictured

Every door knocked on,
every personal story shared, and every moment of connection
matters.
This victory belongs to
these human connections that remain our most powerful tool for
positive change.
Thank you and
congratulations!
