[Family Policy Alliance Logo <[link removed] Policy Alliance>] Colorado's Alarming Bill Targets Parents, Teachers and Workers [<[link removed]>] Dear John, A radical new bill in Colorado is sending shockwaves
nationwide—for good reason. Colorado House Bill 1312 doesn't just advance the
transgender agenda; it threatens the foundational rights of parents, teachers,
and people who work in many businesses. Most of the attention has centered on one disturbing aspect:
HB 1312 empowers the state to remove gender-confused children from their
parents simply for using biologically accurate pronouns or calling their child
by their birth name . That alone should cause outrage, and it has! The
uproar from Coloradans has been enormous. But that’s not all HB 1312 does. Under this bill, people can be prosecuted simply for expressing
the truth. HB 1312 would criminalize certain types of so-called
"deadnaming" and "misgendering" in restaurants, stores, and other businesses that
the state considers “public accommodations.” In certain situations, someone can
be charged with discrimination for using a person's legal name or biologically
accurate pronouns. Freedom of speech and religion are on the line This bill forces every Colorado citizen to choose between
bowing to state-enforced gender ideology or risking prosecution, setting a
precedent for every American. It's wrong, both biblically and constitutionally. Teachers in jeopardy All public and charter schools would be required to fall in
line on transgender names and pronouns. Even dress codes wouldn't be safe. Students could choose the
dress code of their "preferred" gender, regardless of biological sex
or parental input. Bigger than Colorado When one state pushes the envelope this far, others often
follow. If we don't take a stand now, this dangerous policy could come to other
states next. Here's how you can help: We are mobilizing pro-family citizens, pastors, and other
leaders to stand in the gap. But we can't do it without your support. [Will you stand with us today by making a generous gift to
defend parental rights, free speech, and religious freedom? <[link removed]>] [DONATE NOW <[link removed]>] Your support helps us equip families, engage lawmakers, and
alert the public before it's too late. Together, we can shine a light in
Colorado—and stop this harmful agenda from spreading nationwide. Sincerely,
