We are less than two weeks away from New York's Democratic primary, which is already underway as voters start receiving and mailing back their absentee ballots.

Over the last several weeks, BYD has been hosting days of action for our endorsed candidates. During these unprecedented times, you have generously volunteered to make calls on behalf of candidates all across Brooklyn. We hope we can count on you for the final stretch.

This Sunday, at 12:00 PM, we're hosting a GOTV Phone Bank for Rep. Yvette Clarke, our endorsed candidate in the 9th Congressional District.
Before the phone bank, we will meet on Zoom and hear directly from Congresswoman Clarke and her campaign. No experience with phone banking is necessary, as we will receive a brief training before starting.

Yvette is a lifelong Brooklynite who has served our communities well, first in the City Council and now in Congress. In light of recent events, she has been an exemplary leader in the fight for racial equality and police reform. It is important we continue to have her voice in Washington.
