My work in the Senate, and my calling as a public servant, has always been rooted in one command: love thy neighbor.

That means every decision I make, every policy I support, every hour I spend on the Senate floor or back home in Delaware is guided by the belief that every American deserves the dignity of a life where they can thrive.

Our neighbors aren’t just the people who live next door. They are people of every background, every faith, every age.
