John, I want to talk to you about what drives me.

My work in the Senate, and my calling as a public servant, has always been rooted in one command: love thy neighbor.

That means every decision I make, every policy I support, every hour I spend on the Senate floor or back home in Delaware is guided by the belief that every American deserves the dignity of a life where they can thrive.

Our neighbors aren’t just the people who live next door. They are people of every background, every faith, every age. They are families seeking opportunity, seniors hoping for security, young people striving for a future they can believe in. Right now, many of our neighbors are hurting. That’s why we fight. That’s why I serve.

Tonight, I’m asking for your help in that fight. This grassroots team has brought us so close to our end-of-month fundraising goal. I’m truly grateful for that. But we still have a budget gap to close and just a few hours left to do it.

No matter how small the gift, every act of generosity is a seed of hope. I still believe — in this country, in each other, and in what we can accomplish together. Will you make a donation before midnight to help us cross the finish line and end April on strong footing? >> [link removed]

With faith and deep gratitude,

Chris
