| | 🏘️ May Is Affordable Housing Month! |
| |
|
| Affordable Housing Month kicks off tomorrow! This month is all about celebrating and uplifting our affordable housing movement and the possibilities that affordable housing solutions bring to our neighbors and communities. This year we’re exploring the theme, “Love Begins with Home,” because we're taking a stand for our values and our neighbors. When our communities are under threat, it’s up to us to lift our voices together. In the face of cruelty, we choose care and compassion – and we have the power of the people on our side. Together, we can show up, stand up, and build up a future where we all belong. Get involved this Affordable Housing Month: - 🗣️ Spread the Word Amplify Affordable Housing Month messaging with our social media toolkit, which includes sample copy, colorful social media graphics, and more!
- 🗓️ Attend a Local Event Throughout May, housing advocates and allies across the Bay Area are joining together through a series of in-person and virtual events including groundbreakings, grand openings, trainings, and more!
- 📚 Read Affordable Housing-Themed Books! Dozens of libraries across the Bay Area are joining Affordable Housing Month by distributing related materials throughout May. Check out the recommended reading list to get inspired!
