John, it's Hank Johnson, and I can understand that it's easy for folks to get caught up in the noise—or tune out completely from politics—with Trump's never-ending stream of political antics.

That's why, before I ask you to chip in and support our movement to hold him accountable in Congress, I want to share 3 things that remind me of why we can't give up:

1️⃣ Trump's administration is causing MASS layoffs, threatening families' ability to keep the lights on and food on the table. At the CDC just down the street, they fired nearly 1/3rd of the employees responsible for keeping our country safe.


2️⃣ Trump's administration is undermining the courts. This past week he made a show of a county judge being handcuffed and perp-walked in a very public spectacle, the only purpose being to intimidate judges, both state and federal, into complying with his harmful agenda—this comes after his administration ignored several federal court rulings while conducting a smear campaign against judges and justices who ruled against his blatant violations of the constitution.

3️⃣ Trump's administration is threatening our democracy. Every time he signs another one of his unlawful executive orders to circumvent Congress and throw our constitutional rights under the bus, he moves our already fragile democracy closer towards authoritarianism and dictatorship.


Our country, especially folks in Georgia's 4th Congressional District, can't afford to let Trump run rampant.

That's why, in addition to everything the progressive coalition in Congress is doing in D.C, we're ramping up our ground game, and making sure our message is understandable and unavoidable: Trump and his MAGA colleagues in Congress have to go.
