ATU 639 and Teamsters 689 ON STRIKE

ATU Local 689 members at Martz Gold Line are on strike to send a clear message to the company that they will not be intimidated and are ready to continue their fight for a fair contract. Martz has tried to continue their harassment and bullying of striking workers and recently blatantly lied to the union and falsely claimed that the two sides were at an impasse. The facts say otherwise.

In addition, Teamsters Local 639 members at Herc Rentals in Upper Marlboro, Md began an unfair labor practice strike on April 21 against their employer. After more than six months of negotiations for a first collective bargaining agreement, workers rejected the company’s “last, best, and final offer” and say they were forced to the picket line. Read more and tell Teamsters members you have their back.
