It’s my least favorite time to email you: the end of the month.

I know you have a lot going on in your own life, between work and family and hobbies and watching what’s going on with Trump becoming a full-time job.

But I want to reach out because my full-time job is ensuring that Lucy is re-elected to Congress, and can always be a thorn in the side of the Trump administration.

Because here’s the truth: Trump will win this game of chaos and cruelty if we allow him to. The only way to prevent him from taking more and more power is if there are people in the halls of Congress with strong ethics and values who are prepared to keep up the fight.
