There’s a new CNN poll out: it shows Joe Biden leading Donald Trump by 14 points nationally.
Of course, Trump insists it must be fake news. He’s even hired a polling firm just to tell him what he wants to hear -- tweeting out a memo from “McLaughlin & Associates” that accuses news networks of using secret Democratic operatives to sabotage the Republican vote.
It turns out, the firm Trump hired has quite a history -- of being totally inaccurate. One GOP strategist said of pollster McLaughlin: “I don’t understand how he wasn’t run out of the business years ago...he very consistently gets it wildly wrong.”
It makes sense that Trump’s pollsters are lying to make him look better -- it’s exactly what Trump does all the time. But even a broken clock is right twice a day, and Trump did manage to beat the polls last time. Will you help us make sure that doesn’t happen again? Tell us now:
