Economic Democracy Weekly

In today’s Economic Democracy Weekly, with an eye on the present, we look at how to build economic justice for the long haul. First, an Economy Remix article examines how amid crisis a national civil rights group is gearing up for the struggle ahead. Next, our latest State of the Movements column profiles six organizations that have formed a national network for land and liberation. This is followed by an article on how research-and-development capital can sustain nonprofits for the long haul. Finally, we close with an article on the current movement to preserve the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and how the Bureau’s existence is rooted in another struggle that came out of the Great Recession of nearly two decades ago.
