John --
President Donald Trump took to Twitter the other day to attack a 75-year-old man in Buffalo who was violently assaulted and shoved to the ground by the police for peacefully protesting.
It naturally makes me angry reading Trump's false, misleading smear attacks on an elderly man who was hospitalized and seriously injured.
But Dan Sullivan?
He refuses to even look at Trump's tweet -- even after a reporter printed it out and attempted to hand it to him. All the courage Sullivan was able to muster up was, "I don't want to comment right now. I'm on my way to a meeting. I'll see it when I see it."
Sullivan's response, his failure of leadership, his spinelessness, is almost as appalling as Trump's dishonesty and divisiveness.
If Sullivan can't be bothered to stand up to Trump and defend a 75-year-old man who was hospitalized in a brutal assault, how can Alaskans ever trust he will do what's right for them?
They can't. I will.
John, we don't have to accept the failed status quo. Dan Sullivan never says where he stands on anything. Folks might not always agree with me, but when I'm in the U.S. Senate, they will always know what I think and what I believe.
I'll be a different kind of leader -- one who listens and who stands up to those in power who attempt to smear regular, everyday Americans.
It's time we had leaders who have the backs of people again. If you're with me, please chip in $5 or more so we can defeat Dan Sullivan and bring a prescription for change to Washington. >> [link removed]

Dr. Al Gross is a commercial fisherman, surgeon, and a lifelong Alaskan. He's provided medical care to patients in the depths of the wilderness, prospected for gold, and faced off with multiple grizzly bears and is still here to tell the tale.
In these uncertain times, it's never mattered more to send a doctor to Washington who can take on the failed status quo and deliver a real prescription for change. Chip in and help Dr. Al Gross defeat Dan Sullivan and win this battleground Senate seat: [link removed]
