John: Today is our last chance to reach our $50,000 match goal for National Superhero Day. But we’re still falling short — and we are urgently counting on you to MATCH your gift to close the gap!
Will you please make an urgent gift of $25 (becomes $50) or more now to help provide more kids with the nutritious food they need to thrive?
Our mission to provide healthy, nutritious meals to children is as important as ever. Thanks to our work with superheroes throughout the country — like Nichole Taylor, Food Service Supervisor at the Great Valley School District and Policy Chair of the School Nutrition Association — we are making progress every day.
We have been working with Nichole for years to expand school meals programs, introduce more nutritious meals for kids and reduce the stigma associated with free school meals.
But now, new restrictions proposed in Congress would create unnecessary barriers for kids and families to access the food they need — impacting up to 12 million kids in 24,000 schools throughout the country.
“Kids are worried about what's going to happen,” Nichole says. “They think, ‘Am I still going to be able to eat?’”
YOU can give them the hope they need. That’s why we’re asking you one last time to stand with superheroes like Nichole and DOUBLE your gift to help ensure kids and families don't lose access to the food and resources they need.
Give $25 or more now and have every single dollar of your gift DOUBLED to provide more nutritious meals for children and build a world where no kid goes hungry.
Thank you, John.
