Dear Friend,

Cardinal Raymond Burke is inviting all the faithful to join a “Solemn Novena of Hope to Our Lady of Good Counsel” starting tomorrow, May 1, in order to pray for the universal Church, the world, Pope Francis’ eternal rest and your personal intentions.

With the conclave beginning on May 7 to elect a new Pope, which is during the Solemn Novena, it is imperative that we ask the Holy Spirit of Pentecost to breathe upon the Holy City in the coming days. We beg our most compassionate mother of all to seek her “good counsel”. This is a time of great trial, not only for the Church, but in our own lives, especially those who are faced with challenges.

Each of the nine days will consist of a specific issue that we will bring before the Blessed Mother, as well as our own personal needs. 

May we, above all, obtain from Our Lady the highest “counsel” in all the affairs of our household, which is discernment and enlightenment in making decisions, giving us a vision of Hope that surpasses all opposition!
