Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome back from Spring Recess! I hope you had a chance to unplug and rest because it’s going to be a full sprint starting this week until the end of May.
I know you are busy, so I wanted to flag that we are days away from the CRES Energy Leadership Summit on May 7th at the Royal Sonesta on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. There is still time to register, but space is extremely limited as we get closer to capacity.
This summit comes at a crucial time in energy policy. We’ll bring together voices from Congress and the Administration such as U.S. Senator John Curtis, Reps. Buddy Carter, Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Juan Ciscomani as well as key industry stakeholders who will discuss their recommendations for a pathway to create more reliable, affordable and cleaner energy.
The summit focus is on the federal landscape and the importance of advancing an all of the above energy approach to meet President Trump’s energy dominance agenda. With unprecedented demand for energy due to AI and manufacturing expansion, energy tax credits are front-and-center in the conversation surrounding the right approach to catalyzing energy investments like nuclear, hydrogen, solar and wind power, and geothermal technology in addition to oil and natural gas.
Permitting reform and how the U.S. can be a manufacturing powerhouse will round out the CRES Energy Leadership Summit. And there will be plenty of time for networking to hear the latest from energy leaders and insiders.
This is just one example of how CRES’ advocacy goes beyond the halls of Congress, and it’s only done with your support. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to learn more about how we can work together to protect policies that strengthen American energy dominance.
