This week marks the first 100 days of the Trump Presidency, and let’s be clear: He has wasted no time attacking reproductive freedoms.

Here is a look at some of his actions:
* Revoked two Biden-era executive orders designed to protect reproductive health care, including health data privacy and access to emergency abortion care.
* Pardoned 23 anti-abortion activists convicted of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.
* Eliminated Reproductiverights.gov and withdrew the United States from the World Health Organization.

That was all in the first week.

Since then, the Department of Defense eliminated travel reimbursement and leave for those seeking reproductive health care not covered by military insurance – this affects access to services such as abortion and in vitro fertilization.

Secretary Kennedy laid off most of the employees in the CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health.

And the Trump Administration froze $35 million in Title X Funding, a move that left eight states without ANY federal family planning, and VA was among the states affected.

We could go on.

Team, it’s unfathomable, but all of this and more happened in only the first hundred days. Trump has sent a strong message that he does not support women’s rights in general, much less reproductive access, and in order to ensure Virginia remains a safe haven for access for people across the South, we are going to need your help.
