Dear Mr. xxxxxx:
Good morning. Our monthly newsletter is coming out early this month — and for good reason. I wanted to send this edition out to mark the first 100 days of President Trump’s second term in office, and to share what I believe that means for our nation.
President Trump’s First 100 Days: A Strong Start for America

As we mark the first 100 days of President Donald Trump's second administration, it is clear that a new era of American leadership has begun. I am proud to report that under President Trump’s leadership, our nation’s southern border is more secure than it has been in decades. Illegal crossings have plummeted to levels we haven’t seen in years, sending a strong message that our laws will be enforced, and our national security will be protected.
The President has also taken decisive action to remove violent illegal aliens who have been living unlawfully in our communities. For the last four years, cartels and other foreign bad actors took advantage of the previous administration’s weak leadership and failed immigration policies — causing pain and suffering for the American people. By prioritizing the safety of American citizens, law enforcement is now working tirelessly to identify and deport those who threaten our neighborhoods and our way of life. This renewed commitment by the Trump Administration to upholding the rule of law is making our country safer every day.
Another major success has been the push to restore efficiency and accountability in Washington. Thanks to the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency, thousands of federal workers who had been working from home are now back in the office — helping to eliminate waste, ensure taxpayer dollars are used wisely, and improve the services that our citizens depend on. It’s a long-overdue shift toward a government that works for the people — not the other way around.
Finally, President Trump has made it unmistakably clear to the world that the days of America’s goodwill being taken for granted are over. Whether friend or foe, other nations now understand that America is strong, determined, and will always put the interests of its citizens first. It’s a refreshing and welcome change that I fully support as we continue working to make America great again.
Congress Working with the President

Here in Congress, we are working hand-in-hand with President Trump to pass a budget that truly reflects the priorities of the American people. Our focus is on lowering taxes for hardworking families and small businesses, while also cutting unnecessary and wasteful government spending. This budget is designed to promote economic growth, protect essential services, and honor the trust of the taxpayers who fund our government. The House is working diligently, and we aim to pass a comprehensive budget reconciliation plan by the end of May — a critical step toward restoring fiscal responsibility and securing a brighter future for generations to come.
Upcoming Constituent Services Days
As part of my ongoing commitment to serving the people of Alabama’s Fourth District, I am pleased to announce two upcoming Constituent Services Days. These events are a great opportunity for residents to receive assistance with a wide variety of federal issues without having to travel far from home.
Marshall County Constituent Services Day will be held on Monday, May 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Marshall County Legislative Office (524 Gunter Avenue, Guntersville, AL). Staff from my office, including Field Representative James Manasco, will be available to help constituents with problems related to Social Security, Medicare, veterans' benefits, IRS matters, and other federal agencies. While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are preferred to better serve each individual’s needs. To schedule an appointment, please call 256-546-0201 or email [email protected]
Blount County Constituent Services Day will take place on Wednesday, May 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Blount County Courthouse – Commission Chamber (220 Second Avenue East, Oneonta, AL). My team will again be on hand to assist residents with any federal agency issues. As always, appointments are encouraged for more personalized service.
Helping constituents navigate the often-complicated federal bureaucracy remains a top priority for me and my team. I encourage anyone who is experiencing difficulties with federal agencies to take advantage of these events.
Fourth Congressional District Art Competition
I am proud to announce the winners of the 2025 4th Congressional District Art Competition. Earlier this month, we held a special awards ceremony at Wallace State Community College to recognize the incredible talent of our young artists across the district.
The Best of Show honor was awarded to Natalie Jones, an 11th grader at DAR School in Grant. Natalie’s exceptional 3D crocheted tree will be displayed in the United States Capitol for the next year as part of the national Congressional Art Competition exhibit. In addition, she has earned a full two-year scholarship to Wallace State Community College and will travel to Washington, D.C. this summer for the national awards ceremony. Her creativity and vision truly captured the spirit of the competition. The list of other winners may be viewed here or watched below:

As we approach Mother’s Day, I want to take a moment to recognize and honor all the mothers across Alabama’s Fourth District and beyond. Mothers are the cornerstone of our families and communities — offering love, strength, and guidance that shape our lives in countless ways.
This year will be my first Mother’s Day without my own mom, Mary Frances Aderholt, who passed away last October. While the day will feel different without her, I’ll be spending time reflecting on the many memories I shared with her and the values she passed down to me. I’m also especially thankful for my wife Caroline, who is a wonderful mother to our children. Her care and commitment remind me every day of the incredible impact mothers have in our lives.
To all the moms out there — thank you for everything you do. I wish you a peaceful and joy-filled Mother’s Day surrounded by the people who love you most.
May God bless you and your loved ones.
Sincerely,
Robert B. Aderholt
