Jen Biddison As we prepared this month to announce our first eleven House endorsements for the 2026 cycle, I dug deeply into the life stories of these incumbent congresswomen -- and I was touched deeply. So many of them are history-making "firsts." And wow, their stories.

Did you know that Rep. Julia Letlow ([link removed]) (LA-5) became the first Republican woman elected to Congress from Louisiana when she was chosen to fill the seat that her husband had originally been elected to fill before he died of COVID at the untimely age of 41?

Or how about Rep. Ashley Hinson ([link removed]) (IA-2), who was an award-winning reporter until she decided she didn't want to just talk about the issues -- she wanted to fix them. So she ran for Congress and won.

I hope you'll spend time getting to know more about the women listed below, and that you'll support them just as you faithfully support us ([link removed]) .
