Dear John,

Tibetans have suffered the tragic consequences of China’s lies and lack of
transparency for decades, ever since their country was invaded and the Dalai
Lama forced into exile.

Now, the world is seeing what Tibetans have known for 61 years—that the Chinese
government will do just about anything to disguise the truth about their
actions. But you can help break the silence by donating today.

China’s government’s early cover-up and lack of accountability about the
coronavirus are just the latest actions following a well-established pattern...
lying to hide their oppressive policies in Tibet.

Right now, China is trying to hide unlawful imprisonment of Tibetan activists,
including denying them a fair trial, environmental destruction in the Land of
Snows and plans to totally control and oppress Tibetan Buddhism.

Of all their lies, the most outrageous is their claim to the right to select a
future Dalai Lama. We need your help to expose China’s oppression and save Tibetan lives
and
precious culture.

When you donate now, you’ll help break the silence and raise the voices of
Tibetans. Your gift will increase attention on the deadly consequences of
China’s lies for the Tibetan people and their unique culture, and strengthen
support for Tibetans as they strive to live free of China’s oppression.

The Chinese government is trying to keep a lockdown on truth.
Your support is urgently needed to help make the truth known far and wide.

Thank you for your support of the people of Tibet.

In solidarity,

Matteo Mecacci
President

P.S. China’s government can’t be trusted to tell the truth, so we need caring
and compassionate people like you to hold them accountable for their actions. The safety of the people of Tibet—and countless more across the world—rests
with your support of our work to uncover China’s lies.
